Stunning polished stone from Indonesia, sizes and shades will vary as these are a natural product, some have more black, others more yellow. Each stone weighs approximately 14g and around 3cm. Stones are sold individually.
Despite its name this is not a form of Jasper at all. It is at least in part a Carbonate with some Pyrite for the black and the yellow is Realgar, an irritant to skin in high doses.
While safe enough to display and handle, this mineral is not one I would recommend for wearing in a cage necklace or leaving accessible to children.
